About Me

Hi There — and a Warm Welcome

I’m Alexandra, though please feel free to call me Ali.

I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist based in Santa Cruz, California. I received my Master’s in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.

To me, therapy is a living, breathing process — one of gentle expansion and contraction— a movement between deepening self-understanding and finding greater presence in the body and mind. Therapy is a sacred space to reflect, explore, reimagine, and reconnect with your inner truth. Explore your edges. You are allowed to be complicated. You are allowed to be messy. You are allowed to be exactly as you are.

For over eight years, I’ve supported people with a range of life experiences and mental health challenges, including psychosis, anxiety, depression, PTSD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and complex trauma. I’ve worked with veterans and individuals facing homelessness, addiction, incarceration, and societal stigma.

My approach is relational, intuitive, and responsive to what arises in the moment. I offer a space for untangling inner conflict, healing past wounds, and deepening your connection to self and others.
